I once heard a catechist teaching a group of parents that it was like glitter that God pours into our soul.

Ehhh...not exactly.

Even so, it can be something of a mysterious concept.

If you're of a certain age, you may remember the Baltimore Catechism definition of grace - "a supernatural gift of God bestowed on us, through the merits of Jesus Christ, for our salvation."
